All of which is to say: I just–JUST–finished writing “Just for Fun.” Now, a day to let it sit and read it over, make any changes before I launch it on Step One of its journey into the world: sending it to my Review/Editorial Team. Then come the three weeks of revisions and edits, and, on December 8, launching it into the universe (the Kindle universe, anyway!).
Somebody said, “what are you doing to celebrate tonight?” and I said, “I'm going to the gym!” Hey, it's not quite Disneyland, but it works for me!

I remember your excitement when your first books went live. And I’ve been following your writing career since then. I am so happy for you and the joy it brings you. You inspired me to try writing my own book – little did I know it would take me 5 years to finish it! In any case, the first draft is done and I have it out to my beta readers. If they don’t tell me I should keep my day job, I will continue on this path to self publish on Amazon.
I have a question for you. I remember you had 3 books ready for release. Did you ever try releasing the first one alone, before the others? I will never be as productive a writer as you are, and I am hoping it won’t take another 5 years, but it will be some time before book 2 in the series (cozy mystery) will get finished. I understand that romance is a different category, and so the “best practices” might be somewhat different, but what is your feeling on releasing one book with a large lag before the next one, for a new author?
